It is a luxurious seaside town and is popular with tourists and surfers.
The town has a strong surfing culture. As you re fan of ASP, you may know they have hosted the Roxy Pro Event in Biarritz, the beach calls Côte des Basques, a tournament part of ASP Women's World Tour last july 2011.

呢個小城係法國人度假及退休的地方，水的顏色比較綠，好靚! 夏天天氣好熱六月份中午有31c，夜晚卻低至17c。綠綠的水係由冰川溶落黎，水溫較冷，唔好以為相中佢地著晒bikini嘻水好容易，要接受水溫只有15c先得，所以surfers 個個著wetsuit! spring suit都少之有少.....真係幾凍! 平時係香港15c..叫凍，呢o的對佢地黎講算得係咩....“香港水好暖啊!"
